Lost Keys and Wendy houses

My work this term looks at the idea of what home is and whether it is a place or just in fact a feeling. I'm looking at different types of homes and how people go about their everyday lives in these houses. Which in fact are empty shells that we fill with furniture and memories tied to belongings to make us think of the empty shell as a house. These ideas are taking the form of embroidery and the production of a Wendy house. Researching into Wendy houses recently, all of them are covered in the latest trend of the coolest cartoon character at the moment, when I was little it was literally a brightly coloured house that you would transport you to another place just through the power of your imagination, The embroidery will be inside like wallpaper in a house, the content of the embroidery will be what you think of when you think of home. The question which I have asked quite a few people and their responses are helping me understand the difference between a house and a home. The keys are from a previous found collection that have manifested themselves into boxes, they are colour photocopies neatly folded and will line an old chest of draws with other collections like lost gloves, shopping lists and a section of other things I have found on my travels. Displayed like a museum.
